6.0/10

My stay at the Leeds Marriott Hotel had both highs and lows. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of the city, making it super easy to explore. However, my room felt a bit dated and lacked some essential amenities, like nearby plug sockets. Breakfast was tasty, but some of the service felt a little disorganized. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, yet there’s definitely room for improvement.

Rooms
6.0
The room was spacious and well-presented, but it felt dated, with a few maintenance issues. There was poor water pressure in the shower, and I really wished for a fridge to keep my drinks cold during the heat.
Service
7.0
Check-in was quick and the staff were friendly, but the breakfast service lacked coordination, making it frustrating to get simple requests like poached eggs.
Location
9.0
It's right in the city center, close to shops and nightlife, which made getting around super easy. However, the noise from outside sometimes disturbed my sleep.
Dining
7.0
The breakfast selection was decent, but I had a bit of trouble with finding cutlery and the staff could be more attentive to requests.
Facilities
6.0
The gym was small but well-equipped, and the pool area was clean. However, I noticed some ongoing repairs that started early in the morning, which was quite disruptive.

6.6/10

My stay at the Leeds Marriott Hotel was quite enjoyable overall. I appreciated the central location and friendly staff, but I did encounter some issues with the room's decor and noise levels. While my room was clean and comfortable, it felt a bit dated. Additionally, the noise from the surrounding nightlife made it challenging to get a good night's sleep.

Rooms
6.0
The room was spacious and clean, although the decor was quite dated. I appreciated the comfort of the beds, but it wasn't the most contemporary feel.
Service
8.0
The staff were friendly and attentive throughout my stay. Check-in was efficient, and they were always willing to help, but I had a hiccup when my breakfast wasn't added properly at check-in.
Location
7.0
The hotel is centrally located, making it easy to access shops, bars, and attractions. However, this proximity to nightlife meant I experienced some noise disturbances during the night.
Dining
5.0
The dining options at the hotel left something to be desired. I found the steaks I ordered to be disappointing, and the breakfast prices were high, prompting me to seek alternatives nearby.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel had decent facilities, though the leisure amenities were quite small. The spa area was a nice touch, providing some relaxation, but I expected more overall.

6.6/10

My stay at Leeds Marriott Hotel was enjoyable overall, thanks to the friendly staff and great location, but the rooms felt a bit outdated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated the high cleanliness standards. However, the bathroom could use a modern update, especially with the water controls. I'd say the pricing felt high for a Category 4 hotel, yet using Bonvoy points offered good value.

Rooms
6.0
The room was spacious and clean, but the decor was dated, and the bathroom felt cramped with an old-style tub and water controls.
Service
8.0
The staff was friendly and professional, though they did not acknowledge my Bonvoy membership upon check-in, which was a bit disappointing.
Location
10.0
The hotel's location is excellent, just a short walk from the train station and right across from Trinity shopping centre, making it perfect for city exploration.
Dining
8.0
I enjoyed the breakfast buffet with a variety of options, but I found some hot food items could be better heated. The staff was polite and attentive during breakfast.
Facilities
7.0
The leisure facilities like the swimming pool and steam room were enjoyable, though the gym was quite small and located in the basement, making it a bit hard to find.

I had a mixed experience at the Leeds Marriott Hotel. The location was perfect for accessing everything Leeds has to offer, with plenty of shops and restaurants close by. However, I found the room a bit dated and struggled with the air conditioning, which didn't quite cool the room effectively, making it uncomfortable at times. On a positive note, the breakfast was impressive with a great variety, and the staff, especially Steph, provided wonderful service that made my stay a bit brighter.

Rooms
6.0
The room had a dated feel, especially the bathroom, and the air conditioning was not effective enough to cool the room adequately. It was uncomfortable at times because it got quite warm.
Service
7.0
I loved the attentive service, particularly from Steph during breakfast who went above and beyond to cater to my needs. However, check-in was slow, and housekeeping created some privacy issues during my stay.
Location
8.0
The hotel's central location was a major plus, making it easy to explore multiple attractions, restaurants, and shops nearby. Though the area had a few nighttime disturbances, it was manageable.
Dining
9.0
Breakfast was a highlight with plenty of options and delicious food. I appreciated the quick service in the restaurant despite it being quite busy during my stay.
Facilities
7.0
Facilities were generally good, though I wished for a more responsive air conditioning system. The dining experience also seemed well-thought-out but was hampered by availability issues.

5.6/10

I had a mixed experience at the Leeds Marriott Hotel. The location was really convenient, with easy access to shops and the train station, which I appreciated. However, I encountered issues with the cleanliness and maintenance of the bathroom, which didn't match the standards I expected. Despite the great staff who were friendly and attentive, I found the breakfast to be just okay, and there were some wait times for seating that could have been better managed.

Rooms
7.0
The bedroom was lovely, spacious, and clean, but the bathroom was small and uncomfortable to use. The fittings were not up to par, which was disappointing.
Service
8.0
The staff were friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond when needed. However, I felt there could have been more staff available during busy times, especially at breakfast.
Location
8.0
The hotel is excellently located in the heart of Leeds, making it easy to explore the city. Despite being close to nightlife, I found it quite loud at times.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast had a decent variety, but it was a bit pricey, and I didn't find it as impressive this time around. There were moments when items ran out during breakfast service.
Facilities
7.0
Facilities like the pool and conference space were well-kept, but I missed not having certain essentials in my room, which could improve the experience.
